OXI

Today is a very important day for Greek history.

As today, 71 years ago, our president said 'No' when he was asked to co-operate / surrender to the Italian invaders at the brink of the Second World War.

Italians had to fight their way into Greece and found themselves in an ongoing battle that was assisted not only by the male soldiers but also by their women. Their wives, mothers, sisters and daughters would prepare warm woolen clothes, food supplies and other necessities, delivering them sometimes themselves to their men, sons, brothers and fathers fighting for our freedom.

Had it not been for Greece, Italian and German troops would have had easier access towards Africa and the war would have had a totally different outcome.

Nowadays Germany is trying to invade and conquer Greece in a different way: Economically.

We survived a war and fought back. What makes you think we won't do that again??? At the parades this year the Greek young men and women showed their opposition to the traitors of our government, who
have been to scared to say once again 'No' to the invaders.

Now is the time to rise from the depths of the swamp they created and show the world our worth!
